SodaStream Review

I just recently bought a SodaStream; it is one of the best kitchen appliances I have ever owned. Making home soda with my SodaStream is easy, saves money, saves the environment, and is healthier. It is easy for me to give a great SodaStream Review because I love my SodaStream products.

 Easy to Use and No Cleanup:

The SodaStream is so easy to use and there is nothing to clean up! You simply turn tap water into carbonated water by filling the bottle to the indicated place with tap or distilled water. You can fizz to your taste and the flavor of your choice. The average number of times to press the button on the SodaStream is three; I like to press it four times to make my soda a little fizzier.

Regular Flavors:

Cola, Cherry Cola, Lemon-Lime, Orange, Root Beer, Fountain Mist, Dr. Pete (compared to Dr. Pepper), Cream Soda, Ginger Ale, Grape, Orange Mango, Energy, Cranberry Raspberry, Green Tea, Tonic, Lemon Iced Tea, Peach Iced Tea and Lemonade.

 Diet Flavors:

 Cola, Cola Free, Orange, Cola Caffeine Free, Cranberry Raspberry, Pink Grapefruit, Root Beet, Ginger Ale, Lemonade, Tonic, Lemon Lime, Lemon Iced Tea, Dr. Pete, Peach Iced Tea, Cream Soda, and Fountain Mist.

There are also flavors of SodaStream that are available for those who prefer not to drink soda. The Sparkling Natural flavors include Apple Mango, Black Currant Pear, Cola, Ginger Ale, Lemon Lime, Orange Pineapple, Pink Grapefruit and Ginger Ale. The My Water Essence Flavors include Mint, Lemon Lime, Orange, Berry, and a Variety 3-pack. You can also use SodaStream without any flavor by just using the SodaStream to carbonate water - this makes great sparkling water!

Soda Stream Review of Favorite Flavors:

My favorite flavors are the Diet Lemon Lime, Diet Ginger Ale, Orange, and Diet Orange. Before SodaStream, I always tried to keep a two liter bottle of Ginger Ale in the house for times I felt nauseated. Before I would drink all of the Ginger Ale in the two-liter bottle, it would go flat. Now I keep a bottle of the SodaStream Diet Ginger Ale at home and I can make only a half-liter or liter at a time. A SodaSteam review of the Ginger Ale soda mix is great - better than what I have ever bought in stores in the past.

Easy for Soda to Remain Fizzy:

All of the SodaStream soda mixes last for about two weeks in the refrigerator and remain fizzy. One thing that I have discovered that I can do with my SodaStream machine is re-fizz my soda. If the soda does go flat, I have been able to place the bottle back on the machine and press the button one time and my soda is fizzy again!

Healthy for Everyone - Including Diabetics, Dieters, and Health-Conscious Individuals:

I am a health-conscious person; I try to eat healthy and exercise. Before SodaStream, I always drank diet soda instead of regular soda because I wanted to limit my sugar. I do not feel guilty now when I want a regular soda with SodaStream, since there are 2/3 less sugar, carbs, calories, and sodium than pre-prepared soda. I prefer the diet soda mixes most of the time and they are healthier too - SodaStream diet flavors contain no aspartame and are made with Splenda. SodaStream Review of How SodaSteam Saves Money:

I have saved a lot of money on soda, energy drinks, and flavored water since buying the SodaStream. For a can-size serving, the cost averages about 25 cents compared to 42 cents or more for a can of soda you purchase in stores. One bottle of SodaStream mix makes 12 liters of Soda or the equivalent of 36 cans. The bottle of soda mix currently sells for only $4.99 a bottle at stores such as Kitchen Collection, Kohls, and Bed, Bath, and Beyond. You can also order soda mixes from the SodaStream website. I only have a family of three and see the cost savings; there would be a more significant savings for larger families.

Help Save the Environment:

There are no cans or bottles to carry home from the store or throw away. You can wash and reuse the same bottles over and over.

Space-Saving:

I have the SodaStream Fountain Jet for my home and the SodaStream Genesis at my office. Both take very little space and require no power! The SodaStream machines operate with a carbonator that fits in the SodaStream machines. I have a small kitchen at home and at the office; both of these machines require little room. Either one would be great for those with small homes or apartments; they are also great to use in RVs and boats.

I cannot say enough good things about my SodaStream Fountain Jet and Genesis; I use my SodaStream Fountain Jet each day at home and my co-workers and I use the Genesis every week day at the office. I found out after bringing my SodaStream Genesis to work that my supervisor owns the penguin SodaStream machine and he provided me with a SodaStream review - he and his wife love theirs!
